Article Processing Charges
Open Access & Article Processing Charges (APC)
International Journal for Research in Agricultural and Food Science (IJRAFS) is an Open Access Journal, in which all articles published are freely accessible to readers online without subscription fees.
An Article Processing Charge (APC) might be required after a manuscript has undergone successful peer review and has been formally accepted for publication to support the editorial, peer-review, production and online publication processes.
There are no submission charges. Payment of an APC does not affect the editorial decision. The manuscripts are assessed independently based on their academic value, originality, relevance, methodology and contribution to science.
APC Structure
The APC is applicable only after successful peer review and formal acceptance of the manuscript.
| Manuscript Type | APC (USD) |
|---|---|
| Regular Articles | $500 |
Authors are not required to pay an APC at the submission stage.
What APC Supports
The APC supports services associated with the publication process, including:
- Editorial processing and manuscript handling
- Peer-review coordination
- Copyediting and typesetting
- DOI registration and publication metadata
- Online publication and hosting
- Digital preservation and maintenance
- Administrative and technical support
Post-Publication Actions
Where applicable, administrative charges may be associated with requests for post-publication actions such as corrections, retractions, or republications. Any such charges and procedures will be communicated to the authors where relevant.
Transparency in APCs
IJRAFS is committed to maintaining transparency in its publication charges. The applicable APC is communicated clearly to authors, and there are no hidden publication charges.
The payment of an APC has no bearing on the peer-review process or editorial decision.
