Aim and Scope

Aim

The purpose of the International Journal for Research in Agricultural and Food Science (IJRAFS) is to encourage the dissemination of rigorous and relevant research, which is of interdisciplinary nature in the agricultural sciences, food science and allied science. The journal aims to serve as an academic forum for research with the potential to improve scientific understanding, promote sustainability in agriculture, reinforce food systems and foster innovation in technologies related to agriculture and food.

IJRAFS promotes fundamental and applied research, especially research that tackles issues of production productivity, resource efficiency, environmental sustainability, food quality and food safety, post harvest management, and new challenges in sustainable food production. The journal also welcomes interdisciplinary research with the agricultural and food sciences and biotechnology, engineering, economics, environmental studies, and related fields.
